Introducing Ron Davis:
I'm a retired Navy Band musician (trumpet, trombone, saxophone, vocals) and have been a performing member of The 6th Army Band,Navy Band San Francisco, San Diego and Atlantic Fleet Band in Norfolk, VA as well as a band unit leader and staff arranger. I've contracted horns and performed with Frank Sinatra (Harrah's Lake Tahoe), Frankie Laine, Johnny Mathis, The 4 Tops, The Temptations, Steve Allen, Don Rickles, Bobby Rydell, Lee Greenwood and the King of Rock N Soul, Solomon Burke. In 2002, I retired from the military and moved to Folsom, CA where I've lead my big band, brass quartet and various show bands at both private parties and public performances. I'm also music director for the Rat Pack Tribute Band "The Deanoholics". In 2006, one of my arrangements was used on a live DVD tribute to the late/great trumpeter Maynard Ferguson.
